On the DL
I had planned to finish my latest stitching project - Cat in Window by Kooler Design Studio - over the weekend, but unfortunately I have a "boo-boo" on my thumb and I wasn't able to stitch any at all. Which I hate of course.
It just goes to show that cleaning is bad for you - lol. I had been doing a lot of house cleaning in anticipation of having company for a few days and despite wearing gloves as much as possible and using loads of lotion, my thumb split open! Through the magic of Aquaphor and Bandaids, it is almost healed up. But I am giving it a few days before I take it out for a spin.
Even with my injury, I was still able to post the latest section of our free Tiny SAL. You will find it in the Connie Gee's Stitchers Facebook group in the files section. Even if you aren't interested in stitching the SAL yet you can collect the patterns and you can also see all the wonderful WIPs of this project there.
Have you had an injury that affected your stitching lately? How do you deal with dry hands from cleaning or from dry winter air? If you have good tips for us, share them in the comments section.
