Ink Circles Valentina
At present, I am working on Ink Circles Valentina. I am stitching it with some Artiste Variegated floss from Hobby Lobby that I found in the clearance section. You can also check it out in the online shop. The color I am using is called Romance.
You can see the suggested floss color (Caron Wildflowers - African Sunset) in the image at right - isn't that bear just the cutest?
The pre-gridded fabric I am using is from RS Easy Count and it is white 14-count Aida. I love this fabric. It makes my stitching go so much faster. And the gridlines come out so easily when you are done. I am always nervous about using the blue washable pens to grid my fabric - what if it doesn't come out? I have done several small projects on this fabric so far. I plan to do more!
RS Easy Count also has filament that you can use to grid your own fabric. The filament doesn't damage your fabric, the needle doesn't pierce it because it is solid and it is red just like what is shown on my WIP so it is easy to see.
DMC also has a pre-gridded fabric called Magic Guide. It is available in white and ecru. It has a red grid that washes out.
