A Little Woman, A Halloween Spook and a Polar Bear
My Cross Stitch Crazy challenge goes on. In the past few days I have worked on some diverse projects. On Day Seven, I started my third project in the Little Women series. I have already stitched Meg and Jo and now I am moving on to Beth. I am stitching these designs all on one piece of fabric with the girls in order by age. The design is by Brooke Nolan of Brooke's Books. You can find Beth and her sisters in theBrooke's Books Etsy shop.
Skipping over Day Seven for a moment, on Day Eight I had my first finish of 2016. I am adding ornaments to my Halloween tree and I finished the pumpkin from the Heads Up leaflet (Book 181) from Prarie Schooler - just a reminder, they are going out of business this year, so if there are designs you want, you better stock up.
Now, back to Day Seven - this one was a WIP (work in progress) I have been working on for awhile. It is, by far, my least favorite project right now because it is mostly half stitches, but I am determined to finish it. The design is form a Dimensions kit called Warm All Over. It seems to be out of print now.
Today, Day Nine, I will be working on another WIP from my stash. Counting today, just six more days in my challenge and then I start over in my rotation. I am still determined to finish more of my big WIP pieces this year!
