Every Finish Counts
I love finishing things. Such a feeling of satisfaction. This morning I was up early - as my Mom used to say, I guess I had my "nap out". Wide awake at 4:30am - which is ungodly early for me. So, I got up and worked on my craft room for a little while. Then I made some lists of floss I need to pull for upcoming projects.
After that was done, I rewarded myself with some stitching. And I realized that all I needed to do on this little project was finish about three quarters of the back stitch. So I had it done in no time, even with "frogging" the backstitch on the moon once because I didn't like how it looked the first time I stitched it.
This kit was fun to stitch - it is a little intricate. It is Santa's Sleigh by Mouseloft and if you are in the US and you search eBay you may find some for sale. One of my friends from the UK sent it to me. I like how it has a slightly different style than most of the ornament kits I find here in the US. The floss and fabric are of very good quality too. Only complaint I would have is that the floss lengths are shorter than I would like but that is minor.
I also had another finish last night but since it is for a gift I don't want to post a photo yet. But it turned out very nicely if I do say so myself.
