Craft Lamp Catastrophe
So, this week the bulb in my craft lamp decided to die. While not exactly a catastrophe of the highest order, it is pretty serious for me - I didn't realize that I was so dependent on that lamp. I have a Daylight lamp like the one shown below - except mine is copper instead of silver. The replacement bulb, also shown, is almost $18 - I can't decide if I should try a knock off bulb or order the name-brand replacement.
What I do know is that I won't be stitching much until I get a new bulb. I have a great lamp with florescent bulbs in it, but it just isn't the same as the Daylight lamp.

I also started a little snowman kit - I don't have a photo of it to share yet. I was so glad I had it in my purse because yesterday I ended up waiting MUCH longer than I anticipated while my DH (Dear Husband) was completing a business transaction. I read a book on my Kindle app until my phone started to die and then I remembered I had some small kits in my purse so I took one out and started in on it. Always be prepared!
